DOE Office of Science Distinguished Scientist Fellow Lecture
On November 9, 2022, the Office of Science will host the first of a two-part lecture series featuring the 2022 Distinguished Scientist Fellows.

Dr. Sheng Dai of Oak Ridge National Laboratory is being honored for pioneering advances in development of functional materials for separation science, energy storage, catalysis, and other energy-related applications; and for excellence in leading team science and mentoring the next generation of researchers. Proceedings will include an award ceremony, technical talk covering the Fellow’s science and career, and a Q&A session. DOE HQ personnel and invited guests may join in-person at the DOE Germantown Headquarters building in Room A-410 and the event will be broadcast live via a Zoom webinar. Dr. Dai will share research accomplishments, career trajectories, and experiences working at the DOE National Laboratories.
